Getting started
Request a quote with your trailer type, dates, and pickup city. We confirm availability, you add us as additional insured and email your certificate of insurance (COI), then pick up your trailer at the staging yard.
Owner-operators and fleets who carry their own insurance. You'll need $1,000,000 in liability coverage and a certificate of insurance before pickup.
Staging is by request, so availability varies by city. We confirm quickly after your quote — contact us for current lead times in your area.
Trailers & equipment
53' dry vans and 48' flatbeds. All are well-maintained 2017–2019 model-year equipment.
Yes. The $195/week rate is per trailer, and you can rent multiple units subject to availability. Ask us for a multi-trailer quote.
Pricing & terms
$195 per week, per trailer, plus applicable state taxes.
Yes — an $800 refundable security deposit, returned after the rental ends minus any charges for damage, cleaning, or outstanding fees.
The initial rental is 3 months. After that, it automatically converts to week-to-week at the same $195/week rate.
Weekly. Taxes are additional and vary by pickup location.
Insurance
Your policy must include $1,000,000 liability, $30,000 physical damage or trailer interchange coverage, list Freightline Capital LLC dba Preferred Trailer Rental as additional insured, and show the rented trailer's VIN on the COI.
Get the trailer VIN from us at booking, have your agent add us as additional insured and include the VIN, then email your completed COI to preferredtruckingct@gmail.com.
Pickup & locations
We stage trailers in 32 cities across 18 states. Staging is by request, so contact us to confirm availability in your city.
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
